To take a snapshot using the Snipping Tool, follow these instructions:
In the Taskbar, left-click the Snipping Tool.
Choose New. Note: Until you choose a window, the screen can be grey.
Using the mouse, choose the window (move the mouse pointer to the window and left-click). There should be a red border around the chosen window.

How to Take a ThinkPad Screenshot Using Windows + Shift + S
On your laptop's keyboard, press Windows + Shift + S launches Snip & Sketch, and instantly take a screenshot.
Similar to the previous approach, after taking the screenshot, it shows up in Snip & Sketch.
Take a screenshot on a ThinkPad by pressing Function + Print Screen.
Pressing the Function + Print Screen keys on the keyboard is the quickest way to save a screenshot. Fn + PrtSc is a typical abbreviation for these buttons on Lenovo laptops.
By pressing this, you can copy a screenshot of your whole Windows desktop to the clipboard. Once there, you may either immediately enter most social media sites or paste the screenshot into an image editor.
