You need to replace the battery in your Dell XPS 13 (also known as the Dell XPS 13 Infinity Edge Ultrabook or the Dell XPS 13 Skylake) if it has stopped holding a charge.

A functioning battery provides power for your laptop. After numerous charge cycles, laptop batteries eventually begin to discharge rapidly. Consider calibrating your battery to establish an accurate charging capacity if you discover that your charged battery is discharging more fast than usual. You should change your battery if you observe substantial battery percentage declines.

A dangerous fire may start from a ruptured battery. Precautions should be taken if your battery is bloated.

Make sure to power down your device before you begin.

On most Dell laptops, the battery can be installed and/or removed easily. However, many of the newer laptops are designed using non-removable batteries. Such non-removable batteries should be installed and/or removed by Dell authorized technicians only.

Disconnect the power cable of the computer. Discharge static electricity by pressing and holding the power button for 10-15 seconds. Replace the battery with the exact same type of coin cell battery. Dell desktops use CR2032 coin cell batteries (see the markings on the battery).
