How To Type Apostrophe In Laptop

Use Apostrophe key:  

 Put the mouse pointer where you want to insert an “Apostrophe.”

 Press the Apostrophe sign key present in the bottom right corner of your laptop.

Produce Smart Quotations in Microsoft Word:

To manually fit clever quotations, the keyboard must have a numeric keypad. The Num Lock key must be actuated. To employ the numeric canons, press and hold the Alt key and classify the four-number keypad.

Use ALT + 0145 and ALT + 0146 independently for the left and correct single citation mark or Apostrophe. 

Use ALT + 0147 and ALT + 0148 independently for the left and right double citation marks.  

Note – Use the numeric keypad and not the row of figures above the ABC. The top number row doesn’t work for this process.

Use the Character Map if your keyboard lacks a numeric keypad. To launch it, press Win +R and type Charmap in the Run box. When it opens, find the character you want to fit, also choose Select. Select copy when all the characters you want to add have been named; also, bury them into the document. 

The great thing about Character Map is that it supports all possible characters within a typeface, not only the bones affordable from the keyboard.

The straight marks on the apostrophe key are also known as primes. You can use the single linear mark for bases and twinkles and the double mark for elevation and second, as in 1’ 6” for 1 bottom, 6 elevations, or 30’ 15” for 30 twinkles, 15 seconds.
