In order to quickly resolve internet and network issues, you need to follow a few recommendations.
The computer and router needs to be reboot
Switch ON the computer by turning OFF the modem/router and after a few seconds turn it ON by waiting for the booting process to get complete. Connect the computer to the modem/router again by resetting your Wi-Fi adapter and then establish a new connection.
Disable USB selective suspend setting by preventing network adaptor from going into sleep mode
For several minutes if you have not used your computer then connection issues will mostly occur which will prevent the network adaptor from going into sleep mode:
Through Network and Sharing Center choose the Properties button by clicking on the name for your Wi-Fi network, then click on the Configure button and then click on the Power Management tab. For saving uncheck and allow the computer to turn off the device.
Remove antivirus software temporarily
Uninstall Program by selecting a program from the Programs category.
Then Uninstall or Change a Program window will appear in which your currently installed programs are listed that mentions their publisher, size, installation date, and version number.
Click on anti-virus software by clicking on Uninstall to completely remove the program from the computer as a temporary action.
It is advisable to install another antivirus software if your present antivirus software was the cause of an internet issue.
Driver updates and BIOS should be checked
For improving the computer performance a BIOS update may be available in some models. Also, check the download section if a BIOS update is available.
Network driver should be reinstalled
LAN driver should be reinstalled. To launch VAIO care press the ASSIST button by selecting advanced tools. Select drivers by restore and recovery/restore/reinstall application. Re-install the Wireless LAN driver from the displayed list of applications and drivers and restart your computer.
Recover the computer
For best performance ensure that your computer is reset to its factory setting.
Whether the setting of TCP/IP is correct.
In Internet Properties please confirm whether the setting of the TCP/IP is correct.
Please confirm according to the manual from the supplier of Internet service regarding the setting method.

Confirm whether the setting of the Firewall and other security software is correct.
§ Please confirm whether the symptoms are resolved when opening the Firewall.
§ When using firewall and anti-virus software restrict yourself visiting to the Internet because when software is installed with those functions your Internet may be unable to recognize your computer. So there may be a problem with connecting to the Internet.
Confirm whether Firewall runs properly after installing the firewall and anti-virus software.
