By engaging our services, scheduling a pickup, or accessing our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
NSS Laptop Service Center provides professional diagnostics, repair, maintenance, upgrades, and technical support for laptops and related devices.
Our Services Include:
- In-store repairs
- Doorstep service (subject to feasibility)
- Device pickup and delivery
- Remote consultation (where applicable)
All services are subject to:
- Technical feasibility
- Availability of parts
- Service area coverage
We reserve the absolute right to refuse, limit, or discontinue any service at our sole discretion.
2. Service Authorization
By submitting your device or booking a service, you:
- Authorize NSS technicians to inspect, diagnose, and repair your device
- Consent to necessary handling, disassembly, and testing
- Confirm that you are the rightful owner or authorized user of the device
NSS reserves the right to request valid proof of ownership before proceeding.
3. Diagnostics & Estimates
- A non-refundable diagnostic fee may be applicable.
- Initial estimates are indicative and subject to revision after detailed inspection.
- Repairs will only proceed after customer approval of the final quotation.
If you decline the service after diagnosis:
- The device may be returned in its existing or partially disassembled condition as required for inspection.
4. Pickup & Doorstep Service Terms
4.1 Pickup Service
- Pickup is available within designated service areas.
- Customers must provide accurate address and contact details.
- Devices should be properly packaged unless NSS packaging service is requested.
4.2 Transit Risk
- NSS exercises reasonable care during transit.
- Minor cosmetic wear and tear during transit shall not be considered damage.
- Pre-existing damage must be disclosed prior to pickup.
4.3 Delivery Timelines
- Pickup and delivery timelines are indicative and not guaranteed.
- Delays may occur due to logistics, traffic, weather, or operational constraints.
4.4 Failed Attempts
Additional charges may apply for failed or repeated pickup/delivery attempts due to customer unavailability.
5. Pricing & Payments
- All prices are quoted in INR and may be subject to applicable taxes.
- Full payment must be made before delivery or upon completion of service.
NSS reserves the right to:
- Withhold device release until full payment is received
- Apply cancellation or convenience charges where applicable
6. Parts & Components
- NSS uses genuine (OEM) or high-quality compatible parts based on availability and customer approval.
- We do not guarantee continuation of manufacturer warranty after third-party repairs.
7. Warranty Policy
NSS provides a limited warranty on repairs and replaced components.
7.1 Coverage
- Warranty duration varies (typically 7 to 90 days depending on service/part).
- Covers defects in workmanship and replaced parts only.
7.2 Exclusions
Warranty shall be void in cases of:
- Physical damage, mishandling, or liquid exposure after service
- Electrical fluctuations or external environmental factors
- Unauthorized repairs or tampering
- Software issues caused by viruses, updates, or user-installed programs
8. Data Responsibility & Privacy
8.1 Data Backup
Customers are solely responsible for backing up all data before submitting devices.
8.2 Data Loss Disclaimer
NSS shall not be liable for:
- Data loss, corruption, or privacy breaches during service
Data recovery, if offered, is a separate service and not guaranteed.
8.3 Data Handling
While we follow reasonable data protection practices, customers acknowledge inherent risks involved in device servicing.
9. Turnaround Time
Repair timelines provided are estimates only.
NSS is not liable for delays caused by:
- Part unavailability
- Technical complexity
- External dependencies
10. Unclaimed Devices
- Devices not collected within 30 days of service completion notification may incur storage charges.
- NSS reserves the right to treat such devices as abandoned and dispose of them after due notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- NSS’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service.
NSS shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of business, profits, or data
- Delays or service interruptions beyond reasonable control
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NSS Laptop Service Center, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of:
- Misuse of services
- False or misleading information provided
- Violation of applicable laws or regulations
13. Force Majeure
NSS shall not be held responsible for delays or failure in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
